What’s Going On?

Posted on Nov 25, 2016 in Area Fun!, Best of Corning, Local Arts

We’re setting up an exciting Corning weekend for you with events ranging from art, shopping and lots of Holiday festivities.

FRIDAY:

Urban Arts Crawl is back on this final Friday of the month. Come enjoy this self-guided tour through Downtown Corning celebrating local arts. Starting at 5, relish in displays at West End Gallery, 60 East Gallery, Rockwell Museum and Exhibit A. Read our more detailed description of this event here.

SATURDAY:

Skip the craziness of chain stores and Black Friday, and shop local this Saturday for “Small Business Saturday” in the Gaffer District. This is the perfect opportunity to reach so many small businesses in a short amount of time.

Pick up your last minute holiday cards from 60 East, who is also celebrating their 1st anniversary with an exhibit called “Subconscious Expression” at 4pm.

SUNDAY:

One of Corning’s favorite days of the year!

Arbor Housing and Development will be hosting a Northern Lights Celebration that will feature family-friendly activities, selfies with Santa, and festive treats from businesses on Bridge Street.

Following your sugar high, the tree lighting ceremony in Centerway Square and the Parade of Lights will follow on Bridge St. and Market St. Bundle up in your hats and gloves and come celebrate the coming of the holidays with Corning!
