Berger’s Ski & Snowboard and Magic-FM are sponsoring a ski trip to Swain this Friday (11/25).  It’s only $25 and includes transportation (bus) trip and lift ticket! This is a pretty great deal. You get a day of skiing, don’t have to worry about driving, and you save money on a lift ticket. According to the flier I saw, there will be “fun prizes and giveaways on the bus.”  There are no bottles or alcohol allowed on the bus, but since you’re not driving, you could always stop by Swain’s Shawmut Pub while you’re up there.

I went on a community ski trip to Holiday Valley last year through WYDC-TV and we had a blast. I met and skied with a new group of people and we ended up hitting up the pub at the end of the day.  I’m might get in on this trip if there is still seating available, but I won’t know my schedule until tomorrow.

To get in on this, call the Magic-FM office at 607-937-8181. You will be leaving from the Ames plaza in Painted Post at 8:45AM.  The bus leaves Swain at 4pm, arriving back in painted post around 5:15pm.  Seating may be limited so call soon because it’s THIS FRIDAY.
