We have a wide variety of fun events happening in Corning this weekend leading up to Halloween. With art events, Kal Penn, unique opportunities to enjoy food and wine, and dancing all leading up to candy on Monday, you will definitely want to spend your time on Market Street this weekend.
We’re starting off this weekend with our favorite monthly event: the Urban Arts Crawl. To celebrate local art, 171 Cedar Arts Center, Exhibit A, West End Gallery and the ARTS Council of the Southern Finger Lakes will be hosting gallery openings and artist demos for the community to enjoy. This page has a little more information with the all the details.
Each month, Urban Corning concludes the evening with a post-crawl social meet-up. This month, you can join us and The Rockwell Museum for ‘Art & Politics: An Evening with Kal Penn.’ Tickets are required.
I almost can’t write this without having my mouth water… The Radisson is hosting Dr. Konstantin Frank for a wine dinner, and it’s a menu you won’t want to miss – not to mention an awesome deal. The extensive menu with wine pairings can be found on our event calendar. Reservations are required and seats are selling out fast.
We’re celebrating the Dead of the Dead a few days early at the Rockwell Museum. Enjoy arts and crafts, hot chocolate and dessert, and a red carpet! Reserve your tickets in advanced, here.
I know, I know, Monday is not TECHNICALLY part of the weekend, but it’s Halloween, so it kind of counts, right? Bring your youngsters around Market Street from 4-6pm for trick-or-treating and fun games!
So there you have it, one of our more eventful weekends. Get in the Halloween spirit and enjoy all the art and fun that Corning has to offer!
